Andrew F. Skala, Esquire
Associate Attorney
Attorney Skala joined our law office in March 2008. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from University of Pittsburgh of Johnstown with a dual degree in Accounting/Political Science. Prior to attending law school, he interned at the Cambria County District Attorney’s Office. He finished his Juris Doctorate at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan in 2000. He has been practicing law since 2001 in Allegheny, Cambria and Westmoreland counties. Mr. Skala has extensive experience in civil litigation, family law and criminal defense work. He has represented clients in jury trials, bench trials and appeals to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.

Heidi Lyn Cooney
Supervising Paralegal
Heidi received her Associates Degree from Cambria-Rowe College in Johnstown Pa and also received an Associate Degree from Bradford Business School. She is currently working towards her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. Heidi eventually plans on attending the University of Pittsburgh Law School with an emphasis on Federal and Criminal Law, as well as Civil Litigation.

Office Manager/Paralegal
Kate graduated from Westmoreland County Community College with an Associates Degree in Legal Studies in 2000. She is presently completing requirements for a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. She hopes to eventually pursue a career in a Child Advocacy/Family Services supervisory position.
